For the 2007-2008 school year, will be teaching Henle I, units III-V to my 13 and 15 year old boys. Will also be teaching a class for Henle I, units I and II to local homeschoolers. Am open to classes for Latina Christiana I or II or tutoring.

I graduated cum Laude from Missouri State University (nee Southwest Missouri State University) in 2002. In 2005, I completed coursework and a practicum in Secondary Foreign Language Education, graduating cum Laude in 2005 from UMKC. I've completed coursework towards an MA in Classics at the University of Kansas.

I am a certified teacher of German and Latin in both Kansas and Missouri, and have experience teaching middle school Latin, high school Latin, high school Etymology, high school German and tutoring Latin, German, Religion, Basic Computers, and English Grammar and Usage.

As corny as it may sound, Education is definitely my vocation. I recently returned to the classroom after breaking in order to pursue an advanced degree, and my experiences have made it blatantly obvious that teaching is exactly what I am meant to do. I love interacting with my students; struggling to help them understand when they struggle to understand, rejoicing in those "aha!" moments together, and serving as a mentor, role model and advocate to those whom might not otherwise feel that they have a voice.

I am certified to teach k-12 art. I have experience teaching both two dimensional and three dimensional art. Enjoy tying art to other areas of the curriculum. Offer private lessons, and can help high school aged students prepare portfolios and photograph their work. Also have expereience working with technology and the arts. I am speak/read/write Spanish and have experience tutoring in other areas such as math, science, Spanish, and English. I am looking to mainly provide private art lessons. Right now I am available in the evenings and on the weekends.

I am certified to teach k-12 art in the state of Kansas. I have experience teaching two-dimensional and three-dimensional art. Currently, I teach high school ceramics, sculpture, drawing and art foundations. I provide private art lessons for any age level and area of emphasis and can help high school students photograph their work and prepare their portfolios for college. I speak/read/write Spanish and also have experience tutoring in other areas such as Spanish, English, Math, and English.
