I'm currently considering supplimenting my youngest son to help him get thru high school,but don't quite know how to go about it. He is a freshman in high school. I am not sure he will like the idea of me teaching him plus school. I'm looking for suggestions.

I have been having many problems with my 16 year old daughter and I am considering homeschooling for her. She has been diagnosed with ADHD about three years ago and has and is being treated. Considering the results of the treatments, I am not sure I agree with the diagnosis. My daughter seems to have trouble with peers and peer pressure and she is most definitely a follower. She has failed twice and will fail 9th grade again this year. I thought homeschooling would allow her to focus on academics and not on a social life. At least long enough to catch up a little. She has already informed she will be dropping out as a freshman at the age of 18. My daughter is not slow, she is just lazy. I would appreciate any and all input, advice, resources that any of you have to offer. Thank you so much in advance.

I am a single parent with two kids, 13 and 17. I am considering homeschooling my 17 year old. He has Autism and Schizoaffective disorder.

I am a single parent with two kids, 13 and 17. I am considering homwschooling my 17 year old. He has Autism and Schizoaffective disorder. He only has one credit and hasn't been able to attend school since September. He quit seeing the homebound teacher before the holidays. I think we could accomplish so much with homeschooling instead of doing nothing.

We are a traditional Catholic School grades K-12. We are a small school with enrollment of 70 students. We offer Phonics based instruction in the early years, and progress onto Latin studies in the High School. Our courses are well rounded, stressing academics within the Faith of the Catholic Church. Our High School is college prep. We offer the Traditional Mass once a quarter, but Private and Independent, thus we are not affiliated with one specific Parish.

I am a Wisconsin DPI certified math teacher (6-12). I have taught for 5 years, both high school and middle school. I am positive and energetic. I love math and teaching. I can teach your child full time or tutor on a need to basis.

I'm considering homeschooling my 14 year old due to the fact that I really don't feel that the public schools are doing a very good job of it. Just looking for ideas
