I am a single, homeschooling mom of three (16, 14 and 12 years of age). I also work 40 plus hours a week. We have been homeschooling throughout their school years. I am looking for a tutor to help 2 days a week as I am pretty overwhelmed! We live in the Shepherdsville/Bardstown area.

I am a parent of 2 one 2 year old boy who gose to a wonderful and educating day care and one 5 year old girl who 4 weeks ago was diagnosed with Lukimia. Because of this my daughter is not able to get the education she needs. I work during the day 8 hrs a day and my husband works at night. We are looking for someone that can teach us how to schedual routine classes for our daughter so she dosent fall behind while she is going through the chemo and recovering from Lukimia. She will not be able to return to school for 2 1/2 years.

The Danville School is a cottage school starting January 8, 2008 in Danville, Ky. Classes will meet Tuesday & Wednesday from 8:30-3:00 & Thursday will be planned field trips and outside learning. The rest of the days are for family learning. We will serve children age 5-11. We have a strong academic focus with an emphasis on keeping children engaged in learning through multiple modes of teaching. This school year the cost is $160 per month through May. Supply Fee TBD. INFORMATIONAL MEETING DECEMBER 8, 2007 2:30pm-3:00pm at COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER.

I have completed my Masters Degree in Special Education with a specialty in learning and behavior disorders. I have three years of classroom teaching experience and will be fully certified by the end of the 2007-2008 school year. I am looking to tutor elementary age children with learning disabilities and/or difficulties in reading, math, spelling, etc.
