I have homeschooled my 9 yr. old daughter since first grade. We recently seem to be in a rut so my daughter wanted to go a "public school" to meet some children. She's doing great but I realize that the entire fourth grade is just now learning what my daughter learned two yrs. ago. I'm taking her out of school so I can start teaching her again but I feel we're going to have a problem because we can't seem to find any local group of homeschoolers for her to interact with. I know there are co-ops and a lot of homeschooled children in the Alabaster area but I can't seem to find them. Please contact me if you know of any co-ops or want to begin one. Field trips would be another great idea. I live in Park Forest Subdivision near Veterans Park on 119.

I am the father of an year old special needs girl that needs in home tutoring.

She is not making any progress in the public school system and we need help with in home tutoring.

I am a certified teacher who is interested in homeschooling children preferably in your home. This is an idea I heard about from a fellow teacher in Montgomery and it seems to be a hit. I am a mother of a 12 week old and trying to find employment that prevents me from putting her in day care.

I am a certified teacher, and I have experience with students who have Dyslexia and/or ADHD. I am certified in Elementary Education, Middle School Language Arts, Gifted Education, and Special Education. I enjoy tutoring students in Reading and Math.

i have a special needs grandson who has trouble going from class to class and would like to have info on any teacher or homeschool teacher that teaches in their homes. Both parents work and would need to have a structured time of day for him to go to their home.

I am a retired secondary math teacher that is currently tutoring students ranging in age form 3rd grade to college. I have experience teaching all middle school subjects,algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trig, and precalculus. One on one sessions or group tutoring is available. My strong points are I love math and I am capable of easy to understand explanations.

I just graduated from Huntingdon College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. I am pursuing my master's degree and teacher's certification at Jacksonville State University.

I am a former public school teacher who currently does private, individual tutoring in my home. I am an Orton-trained (phonics and reading) tutor, specializing in reading difficulties and dyslexia. I currently tutor both public and home-schooled children. If you are in the NE Jefferson County area or St. Clair County, I\'m close. Great references; excellent results.
