Learn Latin Now is a five-day, intensive introduction to the Latin language. Students with no prior knowledge of Latin will learn basic Latin Grammar by hearing, reading, and speaking Latin under the guidance of an experienced Latin teacher. Ideal for homeschooling parents or others who desire to know Latin quickly.

We are an inclusive, non-denominational, AP (Attached Parenting), eclectic preschool homeschooling group with children ranging in age from newborn to 4 years. We are located in Central Florida, with families in Orange, Seminole, and West Volusia Counties. All members must intend, at least, a trial of homeschooling once their children reach school age (5 - 6 years old). We meet regularly for playdates, crafts, educational enrichment, MNOs, family events, field trips, and other age-appropriate activities. Our goal is to provide a safe, stable social environment for our children that grows with them and changes with their needs.

My soon is a senior in high school and needs a tutor in his AP Chemistry Class. He is elgable for the bright futures scholarship and has been having some problems in this class. I am a former headmaster of a classical school and currently serve as an elementary principal for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando. I recently published a book entitled Increasing Academic Achievement with the Trivium of Classical Education. In my book I trace the historical development of classical education, along with the recent influences of Mortimer Adler, Dorothy Sayers, and Douglas Wilson. I am the director of a small private Christian school with a homeschool atmosphere that is part of Christ Aid, a residential ministry for families in crisis. We have about 30 students from nursery through high school. We are always in need of teachers and tutors. All positions are volunteer, and we are willing to train anyone who is interested. I could also use input and resources from those have experience or good ideas.

Certified elementary teacher of 37 years in Volusia Co. Certification includes K-6, early childhood, and ESE. Taught at Tomoka Elem. 11 years, and remainder at Pine Trail Elem.
