I am seriously considering the option of homeschooling my 4th grader, due to the overwhelming violence in his school, coupled with the fact that he isn\'t getting enough attention and help in school. I am having difficulty choosing a non-christian curriculum that is accredited, and affordable and not solely online. Any advice?

I have been home schooling oldest son for past 4 years recently adopted three children and will be starting to school this year three oldest children. I use mostly classical approach however, now with three, I need to refresh myself and get more information. Mostly figure out how to teach three older children with a three year old in the home.

I am a homeschool mom. I also teach for Homeschool Co-op groups. I teach Latin I and Latin II, and Introductory Logic. I can also teach math up thru Algebra II. I am currently learning Spanish as well.

I am currently a teacher at a small private school and have been a teacher in the public school system for 10 years. I am also a mother of 2. A collegue and I are currently considering opening our own school specializing in dyslexia, dysgraphia, mild ADD and mild autism. I am certified k-6th and have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. My collegue is teaching high school and has taught numerous years in a private Christian school as well as homeschooled her own 2 children. We are looking for anyone who would be interested in coming aboard as perhaps a teacher for the middle grades or social studies/science for all grades.

Certified elementary teacher of 37 years in Volusia Co. Certification includes K-6, early childhood, and ESE. Taught at Tomoka Elem. 11 years, and remainder at Pine Trail Elem.

I am a graduate from USF with a bachelors in inance. But tutored through school in enjoyed teaching more! I will begin my career in education, this August, as a fourth grade elementary teacher in Ocala. I have tutored all subjects in grades Pre-K to 10th. But I have really found my niche in Math for elementary and Middle school.
