mother frustrated with public school.
I had a seventh grader who could not do BASIC math.
Adding and subtracting.
I home schooled for a year. When I sent the child back to public school ( he missed his friends)
I have had nothing but grief.
My son recently applied to a tech. High school.
They want last years home schooling grades CERTIFIED.
Son`s school district has NEVER certified home schooling grades before.
Nobody is sure on how to do it.
I have a call in to Hartford Ct. The Ct board of Ed. is there. I am waiting for an answer.
My son`s school is insulted , because according to them . The Tech. H.S. has no right to ask for the grades to be certified.
Does anybody in CT. know how to get home schooled grades certified??

I conduct a Catholic apostolate called "The Fullness of Truth" in western Massachusetts. Part of this apostolate includes teaching a weekly four year course on catechesis/apologetics to both teenagers and adults. I'm able to offer selections from this course in a reduced one or two year program, or even as occasional talks to groups of students. I conduct a Roman Catholic apostolate called "The Fullness of Truth." This consists of speaking at parishes and meetings, teaching adults and teenagers, and a weekly radio program. I am available to teach a three-year apologetics course to homeschoolers or adults.

I am an 8th year homeshcooling mom of three. I am looking to tutor students using the Latina Christiana course. I have successfully taught it the past three years to grades 4-8. I also direct a Young Actors Workshop and am accepting students for the winter and spring sessions. I serve as Director of Dramatic Arts at Walnut Hill Community Church in Bethel, CT. and have directed drama for over 20 years.

Excel Tutoring, LLC's tutors have access to a variety of effective learning resources and materials available at our learning center. We have a comprehensive reading, writing, and mathematics curriculum designed to help students learn and improve their academic skills at any level.



At the beginning of the program, the director and tutors will determine if students will use their own school materials or take advantage of the materials we have at our center. In some cases it is suggested that parents purchase workbooks that targets their child's academic weaknesses.
