Cottageschool.net allows you to search for other homeschooler, co-ops, schools, conventions, and curriculum suppliers in your area. This is a free site, and we started it because so many people were trying to start homeschooling or create new schools but couldn't easily connect with others in their area.
You don't have to register to search. However, the more people that register, the more useful it is. To register, all you need to provide is your name, zip code, and email. Other visitors can send you an email through this site, but they never see your email, so you don't have to worry about spam.

My mother was one of the first home educators in the state of Virginia in the 1980s. I completed my entire educational experience at home. I currently educate my 3 children at home.
Homeschool two children ages 5 and 7 through Calvert Homeschool Curriculum. Need to connect with other homeschool moms to develop a community of friends for after school and perhaps school opportunities.
I am a piano teacher who teaches individual 30 minute lessons to children and adults. Many times this will count as a credit for school, since the student practices daily. Many times it can be considered "music class" for a home schooler.
